Xcaret
Entrance Only:
For
the more adventurous and those who wish to set their own
itinerary without booking a tour, simply buy your ticket
in advance and make your way to Xcaret by public bus or
rental car. Normal price at the entrance is $49 for adults
so you can save $5 by booking in advance.
Entrance fee includes: Butterfly Pavilion,
Aviary, Swim in the underground rivers. Showers, beach
chairs and hammocks. Tropical reef aquarium, Botanical
garden, orchids, mushrooms & turtle farm. Museum,
Big cats island, Bat Cave, jaguars, tigers, guided tour
of the caverns and the Mayan village. Daytime shows at
the theater, museum and main avenue & night show (no
food or drinks). Night show includes the ball game, a
live theater show with the flyers from Papantla, Veracruz.
The night show starts at 7:00pm, finish at 9:45pm, back
to Cancun 11pm.
Optional activities: (extra charge) swim
with dolphins, horseback riding, snorkeling
tour, scuba diving & snorkel equipment. 5 restaurants
where you enjoy Mexican, International or fast food. Food
& beverages are not included.
Getting
there:
If you choose not to hire a car then take a public bus
from the bus station in downtown Cancun. The cost is approx
$5 each way and journey time about one and a half hours.
Be sure to ask the driver to stop at Xcaret for you. You
will also probably make a stop in Playa Del Carmen for
a few minutes.
